Renovation Consulting & Project Management

Planning a remodel is a full-time job — and most homeowners already have one. We bring a builder’s eye to your project before and while you spend money on it.

What’s included

Initial consult

Walk the space, talk through goals, and get an honest read on what’s realistic for your budget.

Scope & budget

A written project scope and budget framework, so every contractor is bidding on the same thing.

Contractor sourcing

Help finding and vetting the right contractors for your project — not just whoever answers the phone first.

Bid review

Side-by-side review of bids: what’s included, what’s missing, and which numbers deserve a second look.

Timeline management

Keeping trades sequenced and the schedule honest, so a six-week project doesn’t become a six-month one.

On-site oversight

Regular site checks as your advocate — catching issues while they’re cheap to fix.

Who this is for

Homeowners who don’t know where to start, don’t have time to manage a project, or have been burned by a contractor before. If any of those sound familiar, this service pays for itself.

Fees, up front

Consulting starts with a flat-fee initial consult. Ongoing project management is scoped and priced before the project begins — in writing, like everything else we do.

Common questions

Do you do the renovation work yourself?

Smaller jobs, yes. For full renovations we act as your consultant and project manager, and bring in the right licensed trades for the work itself.

When should I bring you in?

Ideally before you’ve signed anything. The biggest savings come from getting the scope and bids right at the start.

Can you take over a project that’s already in trouble?

Usually, yes. We’ll assess where things stand, document what’s been done, and build a realistic plan to get it finished.

What does the initial consult cost?

It’s a flat fee, quoted when you book — and if you hire us for ongoing project management, we credit it toward your first invoice.
